Getting applause is lovely.
Getting clients is better
A free online masterclass for established and emerging speakers who want more commercial value from speaking opportunities.
Wednesday 16th September
12–1.15 pm BST

You’ve done the hard bit…
You’ve got the speaking gig.
You’ve written the talk.
You’ve practised it, polished it, delivered it.
People laugh in the right places. They tell you they loved it.
And then… crickets.
No enquiries. No conversations. No clients.
Sometimes you haven’t even been paid to speak. So by the time you’ve factored in the travel, the preparation, the time away from your business and maybe even a hotel, that stage has actually cost you money.
But that doesn’t mean just turning your talk into a sales pitch
Nobody wants that, least of all you!
In this free masterclass, we’re going to look at your signature talk from the other side of the stage.
We’ll examine:
* Why a good talk can get a brilliant reaction and still lead to no clients.
* Why too much information actually makes it harder to see show value
* How to show people what you do, rather than simply telling them
* What needs to happen before the final 60 seconds so continuing the
conversation feels like a natural next step, not an awkward sales gear-change.
Does this work?
YES! One experienced speaker had delivered the same storytelling talk numerous times without selling anything from it.
After working with me, she changed one thing.
Instead of simply talking to the audience about storytelling, she brought them into the experience and gave them a small opportunity to work with the idea for themselves.
People came up to her afterwards wanting to know more.
One of those conversations became £2,500 of 1:1 work.
That is the difference between telling people what you can do and letting them experience it.
And that’s what we’re going to explore together.
Should you book?
✓ You’ve delivered talks and want to generate business from the stage.
✓ You want to involve your audience and not just talk at them.
✓ You want to learn how to sell from the stage without dying inside.
✕ You want to dip your toe into public speaking.
Of course, there’s a bit at the end where I’m going to tell you about my six week programme but I’ll do it without the ick.

who’s running the show?
Marnie Nash curates in-person experiences that harness The Together Effect, the alchemy that happens when humans gather that screens can’t replicate.
With a background in immersive and participatory theatre and hundreds of hours hosting and facilitating live rooms, she designs experiences that make the most of the people in them.
As a signature talk director, she helps established speakers transform a passive audience into a temporary community, and through her CO-LABS methodology, a room of individuals become one shared brain, finding solutions they could never reach alone.

Marnie is a star with witty charm and no-nonsense charisma.
Any of us would be lucky to be in her class, at her party or on her board.
Because we would learn a lot, enjoy ourselves and simply get things done better, under her watchful eye and direction.
